Savor Beauty was founded by Angela Jia Kim, a Korean-American former concert pianist who began making skincare after a lotion left her covered in hives before a performance.
What started in her kitchen became an artisanal apothecary skincare brand made in New York and used in Savor Beauty’s Manhattan facial spas. Kim is also the author of Radical Radiance (St. Martin’s Press).
“I grew up watching my mother practice beauty, massage, and care passed down through generations of Korean women,” says Kim. “Her sisters in Seoul would send her skincare with gold flecks and silkworm cocoon, ingredients I had never seen anywhere else.”
Today, those rituals and Korean ingredients live inside Savor Beauty, and exclusively curated into spa treatments for luxury spas and resorts.
