About me
Pleased to meet you via some of my faves in the industry, Live Love Spa!
I’m a first-generation American, born to parents who immigrated from the Azores Islands of Portugal—my mother arriving as a refugee following the volcanic eruption on Faial Island. That foundation instilled in me a deep appreciation for resilience, connection, and creating meaningful experiences.
I began my career in the spa industry in 2000 as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician, developing a true understanding of guest care from the treatment room up. Over time, I found a unique niche that blends operational expertise with strategic sales—bridging what guests feel with what hospitality teams need to deliver.
Today, as part of Universal Companies, I lead customized guest experience solutions for hotels and resorts—spanning sustainable guest room amenities, wellness-driven programming, VIP and group gifting, and curated offerings for families and kids. The Universal Companies approach is rooted in heart, soul, and over four decades of hands-on experience, with a strong commitment to service, thoughtful design, and elevating every touchpoint of the guest journey.
At my core, I’m passionate about creating solutions that feel as good as they function—where customer service isn’t just a priority, it’s the foundation.
Outside of work, I’m a self-proclaimed Fairy Godmother, Spa Lover, and Globetrotter. I’m also a proud Tia, Dog Mom, Gardener, Baker, and a Midwest-based Rhode Islander at heart.
